Meet the team!

Liz Marshall

Hi, I'm Liz Marshall, I am the owner and trainer at Sirius Solutions Dog Training. I have a long history with dogs and have been obsessed with them since I was little. My love for training started back in 2014 when I began raising guide dog puppies for The Seeing Eye and participating in the 4-H dog club. Throughout high school, I spent most of my time training my guide dog puppies, teaching my dogs tricks, and studying dog health and behavior. I also spent a year working as a kennel tech and groom bather for Musselmans Pet Paradise where I learned a lot about professional dog care/handling. After graduating high school, I decided I wanted to become a full-time professional dog trainer and attended the National K9 School for Dog Trainers in Columbus, Ohio. At National K9 I earned the title of Certified Professional Trainer. I am also an evaluator for Canine Good Citizen and certified in pet first aid/CPR. I am very passionate when it comes to teaching people about dog health, behavior, and safety. I am always happy to help with your dog training needs. In my spare time, I enjoy antique shopping, wildlife photography, and dog sports. I have 4 dogs of my own. A border collie named Sirius, a German shepherd named Fire, a pit mix named Baby, and a German shepherd named Ursa.

Pictured are my personal dogs from L to R: Fire, Ursa, Baby, and Sirius. I enjoy participating in dog sports with my guys. Our main sport is frisbee but we also dabble in agility, scentwork, and dockdiving. Ursa has her CGC (canine good citizen) and TKA (trick dog advanced)  titles.

Fido

Fido is my 2 year old goat! Fido is very dog savvy and has been romping around with my personal dogs since I brought him home. He is a great little guy to have around and loves helping as a distraction for dogs in training.

Lightning

Lightning is my 10-year-old distraction cat. Lightning grew up around dogs and I often say he has a death wish! Lightning is always eager to greet new dogs and will try to cuddle with them. Lightning enjoys stealing treats and trying to hitch hike so CHECK YOUR CAR BEFORE YOU LEAVE.
