"I have been struggling to find the words that adequately describe how thankful we are for Liz! We were referred to Liz through the prior foster mom of one of our rescue pups. I did a TON of reading, watching videos, and even took one pup to an in-person manners class. My biggest struggle was my own anxiety in whether I was executing commands, rewards, and corrections accurately. Despite my efforts I was frustrated and the dogs were confused because I wasn’t communicating clearly enough to them.

Working with Liz has been a DREAM! Our one pup knew commands but was a VERY selective listener and the other one had high energy and prey drive and was a distracted mess. Our pups did board and train with Liz Monday-Friday and came home on weekends. I got a lesson with Liz at each pickup where she made sure I was able to confidently practice the training that had been done during the week. We practiced each weekend and the dogs were excited to see her when they went back on Monday.

It was SUPER hard sending our pups off, but the weekend visits, daily training video recordings, and undeniable effectiveness of the methods made it all worth it. We are dedicated to using what they learned on a daily basis and the pups love showing off their new skills so it’s been amazing.
